A Happy Weekend!

I had an awesome weekend! And this post is so late. LOL. Last Saturday August 15th was the first meet-up of the Iloilo Bloggers. We had lunch at Fort San Pedro and discussed the future of our group. We elected a new set of officers and planned for future events and meet-ups. Congrats to Claire – our new President! The lunch and meeting was fun because everyone really had the best sense of humor. You should hear Efren and Junelle laugh!

We are having lunch at Fort San Pedro so please come on or before 12PM alright? Don’t worry about the tab because some members are going to take care of it but if you want to contribute you are very welcome to do so too. We will discuss the following agenda.

SM City Iloilo's FREE Wifi Launch

Last Friday, July 31st, I attended SM City Iloilo’s Free WiFi Launch with the Iloilo Bloggers and some of my blogger and VA friends. It was not as great as we expected because for one it didn’t start on time but still we managed to have fun and fulfill our duties as bloggers. We took photos and now I am writing my blog post. I met more members of the Iloilo Bloggers (it was really nice to finally meet Efren, Vincent Juanga and Vincent of ExploreAklan!) and saw some popular Pinoy billiard players too and an upcoming presidentiable (although he’s not part of the WiFi event). I thought the launch was for bloggers, forumers and IT people only but it actually was not. It was also for the Senior Citizens, the families of the OFWs, people from OWWA, and various IT organizations and students from the different schools here in Iloilo as well. Everyone received freebies from SM and their sponsors. Jonha, Monica and I also won a GC courtesy of Figaro from the raffle . A Lola Techie from the Senior Citizens organization won a Nokia Phone too! Congratulations to her!

SFC Provincial Conference – Maasin, Iloilo

I was offline for a couple of days because we attended the CFC-Singles for Christ: FORWARD IN CHRIST Provincial Conference at Maasin, Iloilo. It was a 2-day affair which started on Saturday, June 13th and lasted until noon of Sunday, June 14th. The theme of the conference was “Every single man and woman all over the world experiencing Christ.” We got to meet a lot of brothers and sisters from all over the province of Iloilo and we also got to bond with our Oton brothers and sisters. We had fun and it was really good to know that a lot of single people are still following Christ.

Hoy Angela!

I was with Rino John(my little brother), Monica, Amy, Irene and Tim. Tawtaw and Kix met us up at the Buenavista wharf. Then we went to Kix’s awesome house. The ambience there is like a rest house or a cottage at the beach. How I wish I could go back there. I might ask Kix if I could. ;)

What a day!

I bought this 2 cool footwears yesterday and I’m so proud of them that I took photos so I could post them …
