Day Trip to Guimaras

We went on a day trip to Guimaras yesterday. I have been to Guimaras countless times but this was the first time that I was able to go island hopping, snorkeling and see/touch turtles in Lawi! We went to Ave Maria Island, it had a white sand beach though not as white as Boracay’s but much better because it was quieter and ideal for relaxation. After a couple of hours of lounging at the beach we went back to Raymen’s Beach Resort.

Be Confident!

Only as high as I reach can I grow,
Only as far as I seek can I go,
Only as deep as I look can I see,
Only as much as I dream can I be.

Villa Igang, Guimaras

It has a touch of legend and history showing the way of life, work, rites and celebrations of the early Panayanon. Pintados because of the tattoos that covered their body.
