Tim and I watched Up at the movies yesterday and it was as good as I expected it would be. So many heart-warming moments and some lessons in life was also imparted by the movie. I love Russell! He’s so cute! I am making this post to share with you my favorite scene from Up and to those who haven’t watched Up yet, you better watch it now and tell me what you think.
Here’s what I’ve been up to lately..
I have been busy with:
· Studying Module 1 of Sociology 1 – Anthropology (interesting read!).
· Tim’s problem at work.
· Pacman (the Flash Pacman)
· Reading “Bakit Baliktad Magbasa ng Libro ang mga Pilipino” by Bob Ong
· The Eclipse yesterday.
Hannah Montana: The Movie as we Hannah fans know is the film adaptation of the popular sitcom and it stars Miley Cyrus as Miley Stuart with her alter-ego Hannah Montana, Billy Ray Cyrus as Robby Ray Stuart, Emily Osment as Lilly Truscott/Lola Luftnagle, Mitchel Musso as Oliver Oken/Mike Standley III, Moises Arias as Rico, Margo Martindale as Ruby (Robby Ray’s Mom), Melora Hardin as Lorelei (Robby Ray’s love interest), Jason Earles as Jackson Stewart (I love his antics!), Barry Bostwick as himself (he’s the owner of the company intent in developing Crowley Corners which is Hannah’s hometown), Peter Gunn as Oswald (the slimey reporter/paparrazzi), Lucas Till as Travis Brody (Miley’s love interest, he has a crush on Miley since their childhood), Beau Billingslea as the Town Mayor and Vanessa Williams as Hannah’s publicist. There were also cameo roles by Tyra Banks, Steve Rushton, the Rascall Flatts, Marcel, Bucky Covington, William Gentner and Taylor Swift who sang “Crazier” at the charity concert to save Crowley Corners.
Tim and I watched Yes Man earlier. I didn’t expect to enjoy this movie because I didn’t really like its trailer but …
Artist – Wyclef Jean
Album – Hotel Rwanda Soundtrack
Lyrics – A Million Voices
I was a quick wet boy, diving too deep for coins
All of your street light eyes wide on my plastic toys
Then when the cops closed the fair, I cut my long baby hair
Stole me a dog-eared map and called for you everywhere
Have I found you
Flightless bird, jealous, weeping or lost you, american mouth
Big pill looming
By the way, I still haven’t gotten over Twilight yet. What a great movie. Sometimes I wish I have a vampire for a boyfriend to. They’re just so handsome and cool. At least that’s how I see them in the movies. I’m going to buy a DVD of Twilight so I could watch it again. Robert Pattinson is the best. He’s really come a long way since portraying the role of Cedric Diggory in the movie Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I’m also looking forward on watching The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. I hear its a great movie.
The movie Twilight is based on the novel of the same name by Stephenie Meyer. Kristen Stewart is Bella Swan and Robert Pattinson is Edward Cullen. I enjoyed the movie. Its about a teenage girl who fell in love with a 108 year old vampire but is physically seventeen. They fell in love. And this put Bella’s life in danger. Edward and his family risked their lives to save Bella from three nomadic vampires. Twilight is open-ended. But surely Bella chose to be a vampire too in order to be with Edward forever. It’s a classic story of love that conquers all.
When you find out you will die, that’s when you decide to live. It wasn’t until she decided to die, that Veronika …
Last Saturday night we went to Ryan’s to check out Rockathon – a battle of the bands activity sponsored by the Xbox committee of Callbox. I realized that this was going to be the last party I’ll attend as a Callbox employee. I have resigned and my last day is going to be on the 4th of November. But I haven’t been to the office for a week now. I kind of miss my friends – especially Shey but I don’t miss being a telemarketer! Thank God I’m over that.
I know Robert “Bob” Nesta Marley died even before I was born ( I was born 1985, Marley died 1981) but it doesn’t hinder me from admiring his music, opinions and beliefs. He’s a good man. He was born to a white English Jamaican father and a black Jamaican mother.
